Nuclear Power: The Beginning

The production of electricity using nuclear technology began about half a century ago. More than thirty countries are using this technology to generate electricity. Considering the financial, technical and environmental benefits of nuclear technology in the production of electricity, the acceptance of this technology is well known today. In today's world, developing and underdeveloped states with densely populated and scarce energy resources have adopted nuclear power generation as one of the alternatives for generating electricity to ensure their socio-economic development. The main reasons for the continued dependence of nuclear technology on electricity generation are:

(1) Nuclear technology is the latest secure technology for power generation and a guaranteed sustainable source,

(2) it reduces the dependence on fuel energy imports,

(3) Nuclear technology is one of the ways in which electricity is supplied and improved, among various methods of generating electricity;

(4) The uncertainty of regular supply of oil / gas in the international energy supply market, and the availability of oil / gas reserves in countries with advanced energy consumption, are rapidly declining;

(5) uncertainty regarding the price of oil / gas in the international market,

(6) solving problems related to increasing global heights by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and

(7) Development of political situation in oil-gas exporter countries. With these considerations, the continent of Asia is going to become the focal point of the use of nuclear power technology in the future.
